    Today I discovered a bunch of new work to do, yay!

    In the vorb engine, all I did today was change our shader loader to not call "new" anywhere, and improved the usage of our render pipeline.

    On the game side of things, I started by doing more experimentation with the logarithmic Z buffer, and determined that the best course of action is to use logarithmic for everything macroscopic, but to use a separate linear Z buffer for voxels and local objects.

    I also fixed a couple bugs and switched to using the new byvalue shaders, and I also fixed a giant pile of warnings that had been accumulating in the code. Now the only warnings are caused by external code.

    At the end of the day I started on enhancing our entire rendering and asset loading scheme, and that's what I am going to be working on tomorrow.

    No image today since I didn't do anything image worthy, and because the game doesn't compile right now anyways :rolleyes:
