Hello and I have a pretty bad bug to report. When I go to start SOA 0.1.5, i get a window opening up with the game title "SOA.exe- Bad Image". In the window, it says, and i quote, (yes i am attempting to launch from my E drive) "E:\Games\SOA\Release\MSVCP120.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support." I have tried re-installing the 0.1.5 and it still doesn't work. Please help.

Oh, in case it may be important, here is what it says in the error log file:
*ERROR: Save file does not exist.
*ERROR: Save file does not exist.
*ERROR: Could not open directory Data/Saves/
*ERROR: Failed to create directory in CreateSaveFile()

I also have the same error stuff in my error log. But the game simply crashes on load even if I create a new save file.

Do you have 32 or 64bit Windows? And which Windows version you have?

Yeah this sounds pretty much like the game depends on 64bit files. Could you try to delete msvcp120.dll and msvcr120.dll from the game folder on your 32bit machine?

I'll try when I can. Hope it works on my 64 bit machine. Do you know if the game can run on 32 bit system?

Should I install that in the 64 bit one? If so, shouldn't I do the x64 one? I'll get back to you on the 64 bit one next week. I'll try and do some work with the 32 bit one later.

You need to install vcredist_x86.exe on both architectures.

You install only the one that is included.

Yes, but it is needed on both 32bit and 64bit architectures.

Install vcredist_x86.exe found in the game directory and remove all files named msvc...110.dll from the game directory. It would help if you told what version of Windows you are using.

Also try the latest version, it will ask for some permissions but doesn't require the instalation of vcredist_x86.

I try installing the version 0.1.6 and a dark window says Error. It can be a OpenGL Fail?

Copy the whole error text (right click console window, select Mark, select all text, right click and select copy) or get a screenshot. It's pretty hard to help without knowing about your setup or the error message itself.

Data uses 32 bits per voxel.
Vertices use 32 bytes per vertex.

Yeah your OpenGL version is too old. You need a new GPU.
