    RE: Ingots Iron/Copper/Gold/Lead

Is it possible to add higher res textures to these models? This is more minecraft style texture, where you can see all the pixels

Sir, these are models, not textures, each of those "pixels" is an item voxel I would assume. They look really good imo!

I'd like to see those compared to the models seb made,I do believe those would look kinda humongous but otherwise nice models

I think he means that the models are designed to be pixelesque, regardless if they are textures or not. On that note, I think a texture pack resembling this style would be nice for SoA (IMO) if OP ever considers doing it.

Either way, very pretty ingots! Hope you model more.

I think these can be used when you drop an item on the ground, and not some flying 2D image

Can't wait to trow one of those at someone's head!
This model would be shown when you drop the item but also when you hold it, i guess.

Btw, for the "realism wont hurt here", could you change the uranium model?
We know its cool to show it green and all but the ore in the game is not that greeny.
    Something like this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d8/HEUraniumC.jpg
But with few greenish stripes, just like the ore, would look nice.
    And/or something like this: http://massispost.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/uraniumdioxide.jpg
For it could be nice too.

Ok! I make a second model of the uranium!
    Then you can choose!

I know that Uranium isn't actually green, but copper isn't found orange and yet you have to show it as orange in games because of the familiarity players have to it, a greenish colour may therefore be used in the game so as to not confuse any players coming over from games in which uranium is commonly green.

Hmm, the maintaining of some green is a nice idea actually, I think I prefer the second one! Though that said, the left one if not uranium, could be a fictional ingot!

The right one definitely looks better. Some Uranium(VI) compounds show green fluorescence (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranium_glass for example), but the metal itself is silvery gray, it actually looks pretty boring. Uranium oxidizes quite fast when exposed to moist air, we can assume that some of the oxidation products on the surface glow green ... a good compromise between realism and fiction.
