Second Weekly Dev Summary is out!

    Thats exactly why we are doing it :). The last few months seemed as if we dropped off the face of the earth when really its just been a lot of refactoring the code, so not much to show off. Hopefully this blog will show otherwise :D

    Also I recently tried out one of the test versions of SoA, and holy [insert noun] the game is really beautiful now, the texture work is amazing. Stay tuned for that :)

    I can confirm, the game looks so god damned beautiful now. We really can't wait till we can bring the next update to you all, we're confident you will all love it! We do want to be sure that all the refactoring is complete, and along with that is a fair bit of bug fixing, but soon™!

    The new dev summary looks a bit weird.
    It's hard to read, the background is too bright, and the letters are even more.
    The comment on the devs right beside it's name turns it into a long string, the font is also a bit oversized.

    I like having weekly updates, a lot.
    So yeah, keep up the good work.

    Im going to be condensing the next weekly summary into sections (Code, Design, Web, Community) and write down a summary of what everyone did together, hopefully that will include less breaks and make it a lot easier to read. I will still like the original document if you want to know who did what exactly :)

    You could use tags, or have sub sections, like:
    -epic stuff
    -more epic stuff
    -broke stuff
    -fixed stuff breaking another stuff
    -fixed the stuff broken by the fix of the previously broken stuff

    Then would have all the info.

    The problem with that system is it is more like the current one and it comes off as a contest between the dev, and emphasizes if someone hasn't done something due to other issues.

    Well, you know what fits better, I'm here just to bother.
    Or maybe you don't, but then no worries I won't spread it.
    Trial and error always works, and there is a lot of headroom for that at moment, so it's fine.

    Exactly! Its better to work out the kinks early on so we get it all worked out before the entire population of earth will come to love our game (which they obviously will)!
